PHOENIX, ARIZONA -- With an ever-growing importance placed on environmentally friendly product packaging, the Awareness Corporation's Mark Tahliani announced its use of labels printed on biodegradable paper with clay coating on all products. In addition, it uses recyclable product containers for each product it produces, thereby helping to preserve natural resources.

All product labels are printed on biodegradable paper with clay coating. This material helps decompose faster without adding any potential toxins to the planet.

Awareness Corporation president and CEO Mark Tahiliani explains his reasons for taking the environmentally conscious approach to the company's products: "First of all, we produce all-natural health products from herbal and botanical sources exclusively. It would be simply irresponsible of our company to profess our philosophy of only using 100% natural ingredients, then turn around and have product containers that were not environmentally friendly. We use recyclable bottles and labels because we care about the environment just as much as we care about the people we help with our products."

One of the main reasons for the special labeling is to avoid using the types of inks that are difficult to remove from labels in order for the labels to be recycled. The amount of chemicals required makes that process more expensive and less environmentally friendly. The clay-coated labels, chosen by Awareness Corporation's Mark Tahiliani, make for easier biodegradability.
