PHOENIX, ARIZONA -- The Awareness Corporation donates a percentage of its total monthly sales to the National Arbor Day Foundation's Rainforest Rescue program. This world-renowned program helps protect the variety of valuable resources that come from the world's rainforests.

As its sales grow each year, the environmentally responsible Awareness Corporation donates more and more money to this essential cause. The rainforests help produce breathable oxygen by recycling carbon dioxide in the atmosphere. Rainforests also are home to abundant plant and wildlife species. The rainforests are imperative to the survival of the planet, yet they continue to be threatened environments, due to pollution and the pursuits of industry.

Because the Awareness Corporation produces products made from all-natural ingredients, specifically herbs and other botanicals, the company feels that it is especially important to give back to the Earth from which it takes.

Awareness Corporation founder and CEO Mark Tahiliani explains the company philosophy of giving back, "The process is cyclical. We use many of the natural gifts from the earth to help people become healthier. In order to continue taking, we also must return something to the earth, so that it will continue providing for humans well into the future. Contributing to the Rainforest Rescue is just one way we at the Awareness Corporation help give back to the earth to ensure healthy progress into the future."

According to the Rainforest Rescue Web site, the world's rainforests cover about two percent of the Earth's surface, yet they provide habitat and nutritional support to almost half of all living species. The biggest problem for rainforests is deforestation, or clearing the forests to use the land for agriculture and cattle farming.
