PHOENIX, ARIZONA - The Awareness Corporation, under the guidance of co-founder Mark Tahliani, continued its support of environmental causes by announcing its donations to help re-plant fire ravaged forests in North America this year.

With the recent number of large wildfires burning, particularly the large fires in Colorado, Arizona, and California, the Awareness Corporation and Mark Tahiliani made donations to the Arbor Day Foundation, in addition to its regular donations to the Foundation's Rainforest Rescue.

"With the acres and acres of forests burning out of control this summer, we understand how important it is to help replenish the land that was affected," Awareness Corporation President Mark Tahiliani explains. "As we increase our sales, we contribute more to the re-planting and regeneration of those lost areas."

According to the National Interagency Fire Center, more than 6.5 million acres of forest have burned in the United States in 2002 alone, an more than double the number of acres burned in 2001.

The large fires in Arizona and Colorado this year caused millions of dollars of damage, both to the forests and to those who lived in the devastated areas. The impact on wildlife was also significant, not to mention the overall long-term damage to the ecosystem. The National Arbor Day Foundation calls 2002 "one of the worst years for fires in U.S. history."

The Awareness Corporation, supported by Mark Tahliani, regularly donates a percentage of its monthly sales to the Rainforest Rescue. It also supports other environmental causes and charitable organizations.
